This same refined, geometric style can also be found in the Liri embroidery collection. The lace design uses a delicate embroidery in a subtle palette of colors to introduce more vivacious elements that increase the chromatic effect. The ancient art of embroidery has always adorned home furnishings and textiles. The satin stitch, or long-and-short stitch, is used for this series, a flat-stitch variant and one of the most widely used stitches in traditional Italian production.
