Description

Wabi-Sabi takes its name from the Japanese philosophy that honors the beauty found in simplicity—and in imperfection. Its block-printed grid pattern reflects centuries-old printing traditions in Jaipur, Rajasthan, known as the global epicenter of hand-carved wooden blocks and pigment printing.
Hand-block printed in Jaipur on pure cotton percale, Wabi-Sabi celebrates the perfectly imperfect. With its Japanese-inspired grid motif, this style comes alive in two rich tones—Garnet and Midnight—on a natural ground. A modern design rooted in ancient craft, each piece embraces the quiet charm of variation.
Crafted on durable 200-thread-count cotton percale for duvet covers and shams, and on airy hand-quilted voile for coverlets, Wabi-Sabi also extends into the dining room with matching placemats, napkins, and table linens.

Care
Confirm that your bedding is the correct size for your mattress and pillows. Linens are made with a shrinkage allowance that varies by fabric and weave. For maximum comfort, we recommend laundering before first use. Wash bedding separately, keeping light colors apart from darks. Avoid overfilling the machine or mixing with towels, heavy items, or anything with zippers. Use a small amount of mild, bleach-free detergent without brighteners or softeners (we recommend and sell Le Blanc products). For lightly soiled items, use half the usual amount. Never pour undiluted detergent directly onto fabric. Select a gentle cycle with cool or warm water; avoid hot water, which can weaken fibers. Tumble dry on low heat. To reduce wrinkles, dry one item at a time and remove promptly. For an even smoother finish, remove while slightly damp and iron. Avoid liquid fabric softeners and dryer sheets. Press with a steam iron. Iron sateens and percales on the front side; embroideries should be pressed on the reverse. Store neatly folded in a breathable fabric bag. Avoid direct contact with plastic, cardboard, or cedar. Treat according to the type of stain. Many can be removed with a diluted laundry detergent solution or a commercial product such as Shout! or Spray 'N Wash. Large pieces, such as duvet covers, may be easier to clean professionally, and many customers enjoy the crisp, smooth finish of professional laundering. Not necessary for cotton or linen bedding.
