Thanks to Dea’s creativity and consistent research of new fabrics has driven Dea’s collections towards a Beautiful Pre-washed Cotton Linen blend fabric: 60% cotton + 40% linen.
Embroidery: The interplay of flowers and hemmingbirds on the ivory background is created using several stitches from the Italian needlework tradition. Among them we can find: the silk stitch and the stem stitch. Also called the straight or longand-short stitch, the former permits painting with a needle and thread, expressed like a brushstroke of color with a long stitch that creates threedimensionality and a play of light. The stem stitch is ideal for depicting particulars with a sort of delicate cord. This embroidery stitch remains very soft to the touch and can be a simple or double stitch.
Top sheet: with double return. Embroidery spread all over on the return.
Pillow case: embroidery placed on front only.
Duvet Cover: Knife edge and hidden button closure. Embroidery spread all over on the duvet.
Standard, king sham: Embroidery placed on one top corner only, approximately 3-inches mitered flange.
Eurosham: three big motifs all over. Approximately 3-inches mitered flange.
Boudoir: two big motifs in the center. Approximately 2-inches mitered flange.
Hem: Plain. Origin: Made in Italy.

Care

Machine wash in warm water, gentle cycle. Do Not bleach. Wash dark colors separately. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry until slightly damp. No need to iron.
