All of the pieces in our best-selling Toscana collection feature the same beaded details, inspired by a 16th century Tuscan design. The pewter casserole dish features a 2.5 quart Pyrex liner. Bake your favorite dish in the Pyrex, and serve it on table or buffet in this gorgeous casserole holder with lid.
Please note: While the Pyrex insert is oven safe up to 500 degrees, pewter is not. It’s a lovely material for serving hot foods, but placing it an oven, warming drawer or on a stove top will transform this casserole from beauty into misshapen beast.

Care
Pewter Care: Match pewter is handmade by artisans in Northern Italy. Each piece is made with a lead free alloy of tin, copper and antimony that is FDA approved and food safe. Cleaning your pewter: Unlike silver, pewter tarnishes very slowly and requires almost no maintenance. Should you choose to clean your pewter, hand wash in warm water with a liquid dish soap. Be sure to dry the pewter completely, as water allowed to dry on pewter may cause spots. Any spots that appear can be easily removed by polishing or by gently rubbing the area in small circular motions with very fine "0000" steel wool.
