Naturally hypoallergenic, Gingerlily’s silk filled comforters contain only the finest long strand mulberry silk floss and are covered with a premium 300-thread count soft cotton casing. These are ideal for those with sensitive skin and allergies as the only naturally bedding choice available. A natural heat conductor, silk helps to regulate the body's temperature while you sleep to help keep you warm in the winter and cool in the long summer months.
Casing: 100% cotton sateen, 300 thread count.
Filling: 100% mulberry silk, pure long strand.
Pair with one of our silk filled pillows.
Tog equivalent:
Summer Season Weight: 2-4 tog.
All Seasons Weight: 6-8 tog.

Care

Silk is a luxury fibre and you should always protect your silk filled duvets with a removable washable cover. If properly covered, silk filled duvets should almost never require cleaning. Unlike traditional bedding Gingerlily duvets are free from dust mites and as you don’t perspire using them, it should be unnecessary to thoroughly clean them. To keep your duvets in the best possible condition, we would recommend that they are aired once or twice a year during the warmer months, on a line outdoors. Please always check the care instructions on the label. Detailed information: Spot clean: Use a special stain remover Professional launder: At low temperature (no higher than 30°c) Detergent: We recommend Liquid Silk Wash or any other mild silk/delicates detergent Drying: Air dried or tumble dry on a very low temperature/cool cycle if needed
