Prospect Park, in the heart of Brooklyn is both historic and vibrantly up to date. This pattern designed in Brooklyn by Kevin as part of a pattern reproduction project for the Metropolitan museum of Art's Tiffany exhibit follows that example. This design began in Kevin’s sketchbook, was printed on silk velvet, then hand-painted in small batches by artisans in Philadelphia. Dye is applied by hand in layers on the velvet fiber surface. Variations in color are part of the nature of our unique dying process.
Silk velvet (35% silk, 65% rayon).
Hand dyed in Philadelphia.
